Situated in Edinburgh's West End, The Bonham is a boutique
hotel offering uplifting contemporary ambiance within a
classic Victorian townhouse. The Bonham is a short walk
from the city's many excellent shops and boutiques, the
financial district, Edinburgh Castle and the Old Town.
Upon entry into The Bonham, guests are immediately surrounded
by the hotel's distinctive presence. The Victorian fireplace
and grand, old staircase in the oak-paneled lobby are now
mixed with a black marble reception desk and a tasteful
crimson spiral sofa. Showcasing a permanent contemporary
art collection, The Bonham Hotel features the works of
30 local "up and coming" Scottish artists. |

room was created by designer Janey Armstrong to be
modern and dramatic, yet simple in design and generous
in proportions. Rooms offer high ceilings, huge comfortable
beds, an abundance of cushions and throws, and large
bright and airy windows, many of which offer spectacular
views across Edinburgh. |
The hotel is home to the well-known Restaurant at the
Bonham, a stylish, oak- paneled venue famed for its innovative
European lunch and dinner menus, and varied wine list
that includes several by-the-glass options. Under the
direction of Head Chef Michel Bouyer, the restaurants
features dishes made from seasonal organic produce. A
cooked-to-order Scottish breakfast and continental breakfast
buffet are also served.
The Bonham also features a private tree-filled garden
at the front of the hotel, a tasteful meeting room for
up to 60 people, along with an adjoining library to enjoy
evening drinks. Other hotel services include complimentary
newspapers in lobby, limited room service and a multilingual
