DININGS & BARS:
Guests will enjoy the hotel's dining facilities including
The Terrace on Portman Square, a relaxing place to unwind,
enjoy a light meal or afternoon tea, and The Churchill Bar & Cigar
Divan, offering an impressive selection of Cuban cigars and
single malt whiskies. Or relax in the privacy of your own
room with 24-hour Room Service.
And most recently, Locanda Locatelli has been opened on
the former site of Clementine's restaurant by Giorgio Locatelli,
considered one of the best Italian chefs in Britain. The
restaurant and kitchen have undergone a £1.5 million
refurbishment, with designs for the 90-cover restaurant by
David Collins.
The Terrace on Portman's Square Located on the Lobby level,
the new restaurant has doubled its capacity to 120 seats,
which have been placed in a pretty, indoor garden terrace
setting, complete with two large trees. The aroma of freshly
ground coffee emanates daily from the restaurant's art deco-style
coffee bar, which also offers a 'coffee-to-go' service as
well as light snacks such as freshly made sandwiches and
croissants.
The Churchill Bar and Cigar Divan the handsome,
newly relaunched bar enjoys its own private entrance from
Portman Square and
provides members with the finest selection of malt whiskies
in London and special lunch and dinner menus. The decor and
ambience is reflective of a private retreat dedicated to
the pleasures of the leaf. Warm wood panelling
and humidors are accented by rich fabrics and distinctive
appointments.
MEETINGS & BANQUETS: Everything you could want from a

global standards, a comprehensive code of practice, enhanced

meeting planner. Whether you are organising a large sales conference

The Chartwell Suite, named after Sir Winston Churchill's famous
private home in Kent, is the largest of the hotel's function
rooms and will accommodate up to 300 guests. Situated on the
ground floor, the Chartwell is elegantly decorated in traditional
style, with beautiful chandeliers, panelled walls and fine
paintings.
The Cabinet Suite, the name of which evokes memories of Sir
Winston Churchill's many years as a government minister, is
a group of three medium-sized, interconnecting rooms on the
ground floor of the hotel. They can be used in any combination
- either individually, in pairs or with all three opened into
a larger space for up to 180 guests.
The Library provides a highly distinctive
venue, with a tall, glass-domed ceiling and fine architectural
details. The shelves
are lined with antique books and the atmosphere reflects that
of a private room in a stately home. The Marlborough and the
Blenheim have been designed for use both individually and in
tandem as a meeting or lunch venue.
They are situated in a quiet position on the 2nd floor and
are designed with simple elegance to suit every type of event.
The Spencer and the Randolph, like all our
meeting and banqueting rooms, are fully air-conditioned. They
are equipped with remote-controlled
lighting and an electronically controlled screen, and both
have natural daylight. They also benefit from additional syndicate
rooms nearby. Spencer and Randolph are both traditional Churchill
family names. The two Boardrooms offer a sophisticated blend
of ultra-modern design with the ambience of a traditional gentleman's
club.
The furnishings include contemporary classics; comfort with
high style is the mood. The Boardrooms are situated on the
ground floor of the hotel, adjacent to the Business Centre
and close to all the major business and leisure facilities.
These exclusive rooms are ideal for meetings of up to ten
delegates.
