Four Seasons Hotel Sydney (former The Regent
Hotel Sydney) has been awarded the Best Hotel in Australia,
by America's most popular travel magazine, Conde Nast Traveler,
in the 2001 Reader's Choice Awards. The annual coveted were
announced in the November issue, placing Four Seasons Hotel
Sydney at the top of its list.
Stunningly situated on Sydney Harbour, Four Seasons Hotel
Sydney overlooks the famous Opera House and Sydney Harbour
Bridge. Located in the historic Rocks area, the Hotel is
a short walk away from Sydney's major shopping and business
districts.
Totally transformed through a recent renovation, the 531
rooms and suites feature some of the most luxurious interiors
in Sydney. The breathtaking three-level atrium style lobby
is the gateway to Four Seasons Hotel Sydney experience: four
award-winning restaurants and bars, comprehensive Spa and
Fitness Centre with sauna and heated outdoor pool, and over
1,300 sq. m (14,000 sq. ft.) of Sydney's finest meeting and
function space.

This hotel offers 531 guestrooms
on 34 floors. Beds are dressed with Egyptian cotton bed linens;
comforters and down duvets; down pillows or non-allergic foam
pillows. Views are of the Royal Botanic Gardens, the Sydney Opera
House, the harbour, and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Décor
incorporates marbles, exotic woods, rich silks, and mood lighting.
Bathrooms feature Italian Spider Gold Marble and Italian limestone.
Other amenities include high-speed Internet access (surcharge),
multi-line phones with speaker capability and voicemail; lap-top
size safes, tea/coffee making facilities, minibars, hairdryers,
lighted make-up/shaving mirrors, non-allergenic soaps, terry bathrobes,
and umbrellas. Housekeeping service is offered twice daily; overnight
shoeshine is offered as well.

Located on site, The Spa at
Four Seasons occupies 3,767 square feet and houses six treatment
rooms including a couple’s room with two massage tables,
private shower, and spa tub. Exclusive Elemis products from
the UK are featured, and services include massages, scalp
treatments, herbal detoxifying wraps, facials, manicures,
pedicures, waxing, tinting, and post-treatment herbal teas.
There is also a fitness area equipped with five upright and
recumbent bikes; Lifecycles, Stair Masters, treadmills, free
weights, and weight-training machines. Swiss medicine balls,
mats, punching bags/gloves, a water station, juice bar, locker
rooms, and swimsuit spinner (20-second quick dry) are available
as well. The terrace houses a triangular swimming pool.
Meeting/event facilities total 14,176 square feet and include
three conference rooms, plus a grand ballroom that is divisible
into two. Audio-visual presentation equipment is continually
updated, and standard inventory includes lecterns, overhead
projectors, data projectors, LCD-display panels, slide projectors,
multi-image dissolve programming, video cameras, recorders,
players, screens, flipcharts, easels, marker boards, and plasma
screens. Technical support is offered, and secretarial support,
photocopying, faxing, scanning, document collating/binding,
translation service, computer use, mobile phone rental, and
high-speed Internet access are available in the business center
(surcharge for all).
Valet and garage parking are available for 100 vehicles
(surcharge).
Kable’s - Hotel’s premier restaurant. Located
on level two, via grand lobby staircase. Dark floors; parquet
and carpeting. Cosmopolitan-style Australian menu. Wine bar.
Wine cellar seats 120. Private dining room can accommodate
10-50 guests. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The Bar - Menu includes sushi, Sydney rock oysters on the
shell, peanut satay, and sandwiches. Live entertainment featured
Wednesday - Saturday evenings. Capacity is 120. Open daily.
The Cabana - Located on pool deck. Fruit drinks and cocktails
served poolside. Menu selections include gourmet sandwiches,
salads, sushi, and chilled seafood. Open in the summer months
