The Zamana Restaurant and Coffee Shop serves a tempting array
of local delicacies and continental classics. Tables provide
views of the picturesque jasmine gardens.
Located in the main lobby on the upper ground floor, the
Lobby Lounge provides views of the Jasmine gardens. This
is a quiet retreat where guests can enjoy a delightful cup of
coffee, classic teas and an array of pastries, cakes and
sandwiches. The Rakaposhi Restaurant offers an international selection
of freshly baked homemade breads, cakes and pastries and
a full selection of beverages, specialty teas, coffee and cocktails.
Takeaway service available. Rooftop tables at the Nazara Restaurant
provide panoramic views across Rawal Lake and Margalla Hills. Guests enjoy
exotic
grill cuisine with local folk musicians entertaining each
night. Located next to the swimming pool and gardens, the Pool Bar
serves snacks, salads and cocktails. There is live entertainment
in the evening.
Recreation
The health club at the Serena is very special. The surroundings
are the very essence of peace and tranquility. In this day
and age of feng shui and aromatherapy, the ancient design
of Moorish baths is resurrected in a modern structure and
houses separate areas for men and women.
Series of columns clad with mirrors and bordered with terra
cotta Zillij tiles, recreate an authentic atmosphere. The
fresh whites in the ceramic glaze accent the rich blues, which
are typically Moorish in design.
The health club is equipped with a full service center, featuring
a steam room, dry heat and sauna and state-of the-art exercise
equipment. Massages are available by appointment.
The health club leads you to the glimmering waters of the
swimming pool set in an intimate oasis. Arches similar to
those adorning the rooftop define the space surrounding the
pool, creating a walkway and providing privacy.
The garden behind the pool area is screened from the rest
of the gardens; and a semi-circular wooden counter decorated
with traditional Swati carvings rests in the gardens as the
pool bar counter. Light refreshments are available at this
counter. An open kitchen caters to the gourmet needs of the
guests.
Meeting and Conference
Business and social gatherings are expertly accommodated
at Islamabad Serena Hotel. Six, purpose-designed, meeting
rooms are available for conferences, receptions and banquets
– large or small. Each room is equipped with the latest
audio-visual equipment. In addition, the Grand Ballroom is
able to accommodate 1000 people, or a sit-down dinner seating
of 800 guests. Rooftop banquet and main lawns are also available.
The multi-lingual staff of the Business Centre is available
24 hours a day to meet the wide-ranging needs of our guests.
