If you can say there is a center to the
activity that makes New York one of the world's most exciting
cities, The Iroquois is located at its core. Just a few of
the attractions within a 15 minute walk are 5th Avenue shopping,
the Empire State Building, Times Square, and all the theaters
of Broadway. And if you are wondering what to do, how to
get there and when to go, all you have to do is ask the concierge.
Expert in the details that make a New York visit something
memorable, finding reservations at the most sought after
restaurants or those hard to get shows, our concierge staff
is at your service every day.

| Our 114 guest rooms are decorated in
a color scheme of restful green and cream that accentuates the
elegant French residential furnishings. Bathrooms are floor-to-ceiling
marble with brass fittings. Every room has a two-line phone with
one direct private line that can transfer calls to a cellular phone
and receive voice mail. Bed linens and towels are imported 300-count
cotton. Pillows are pure goose down.
Nine suites include such additional amenities as original artwork,
decorative fireplaces, separate Jacuzzi tub and shower stall,
and his and hers terry cloth Frette bathrobes. Each suite has
been beautifully decorated. The James Dean Suite (No. 803) is
decorated with photographs and other memorabilia that recall
the days before "Rebel Without a Cause" when the actor
lived here between 1951 and 1953.
