This famous novel by Bernardin de St. Pierre
is based on some authentic events in the history of l’île
de France (Mauritius). Thus, the St. Géran was truly
wrecked in August 1744, in the vicinity of l’île
d’Ambre, on the north coast, opposite Paul & Virginie…
This charming hotel pays tribute to the mythical youths,
this great love story with a tragic ending.
Nestling next to the picturesque village of Grand Gaube,
in between the turquoise ocean, golden sands and a lush vegetation,
Paul & Virginie hotel offers you a legendary setting where
to spend dreamy holidays
