VISAS

each
passport holder to check the different conditions of
entry to the desired country.
Tourist
The applicant should have a passport valid for at least
6 months from the date of application for the visa;
one visa form (photocopy allowed); two passport-size
photographs; confirmed onward/ return air ticket;
onward visa and proof of funds or Sponsorship declaration
from the sponsor in Kenya. Hotel confirmation. Visa
validity is for 3 months and period of stay is given
at the time of entry into Kenya. Processing time
is 24 hours.
Single Entry INR 2200
Business
Application procedures are the same as above. Additional
requirements are: a covering letter from the Indian
organisations recommending travel, organisation to
be visited and duration of proposed stay and a letter
of invitation from the business associates in Kenya.
Other details are the same as above.
Transit
Visa is required. Application procedures and other
details are same as for Tourist visa. Visa is valid
for 3 months with 7 days stay allowed.
Visa fee is INR 900
Seamen
Visa is required. Indian seamen travelling on duty
must hold a Letter of Guarantee from the shipping
company with seamen book and passport. The covering
letter must include particulars of the seamen, name
of the ship and the expected date and port of joining
the ship. Application procedure is same as for Tourist.
Work Permit
The Employer will apply for work permit to the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs in Kenya. The applicant should
apply for the visa with the original work permit;
Invitations from Kenyan Company and No Objection
Certificate from the last Employer in India are required.
Documentation and details are same as for Tourist.
